ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler and coach Josh McDaniels will meet next week to begin patching their strained relationship after Cutler became unhappy over trade talks.

The team said the conversation between Cutler and the new Broncos coach will take place once the Pro Bowl quarterback returns to Denver from Nashville, Tenn.

"The Denver Broncos are not trading Jay Cutler, Period," Broncos team spokesman Patrick Smyth said Tuesday.

Cutler is upset that he was the subject of trade talks for Matt Cassel and has suggested his relationship with McDaniels has become tense.
