Warriors Set Early Pace But Run Out Of Gas

GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors built a 5-0 lead after one inning on day one of the Bill Fanning Classic, but the game ended in Woodland's favor 14-7 over the Warriors.

Travis Key hit a two-run triple in the first inning followed by a two-run homerun by Dylan Begg.

The Warriors will be back on the field Friday morning against Golden at Canyon View Park at 10:00.
