DENVER (AP) - Milan Hejduk and Wojtek Wolski scored shootout goals, and Peter Budaj stopped both of Minnesota's attempts in the tiebreaker in the Colorado Avalanche's 2-1 victory over the Wild on Thursday night.
Budaj made 16 saves for his 18th win of the season.
Marc-Andre Bergeron scored, and Niklas Backstrom made 35 saves for Minnesota, tied with Edmonton and Nashville with 71 points for eighth place in the Western Conference. The Wild have lost three of their last five.
