Mavs Score 33 Runs But Only Win Once

The Mesa State baseball team split a double header with the Colorado Christian Cougars on Friday winning game one 29-7, but dropping game two 5-4.

CCU took the lead in game two thanks to a three run sixth inning after trailing 4-2. The Mavs had a chance to tie things up in the bottom of the last inning but the tying run was thrown out at the plate.

The Mavs will finish off the four game series against the Cougars on Saturday afternoon with a double-header starting at 12:00 p.m.
