GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - Mesa State women's golfer Sadie Peavler-Farnsworth was named RMAC women's golf player of the week for her performcance on Monday and Tuesday. She set a school record with a round of 69 on day one and recorded six birdies and 17 pars to finish second at the Maverick Invitational. The old school record of was 72. Peavler-Farnsworth shot a 33 on the front nine and a 36 on the back nine. She held a five-shot lead after day one. Her record breaking round included five birdies and 11 pars.
She was one under on par 3, par 4 and par 5 scoring. Peavler-Farnsworth tied with GCU’s Jacqueline Sneddon after the final round with a 155 but lost in the first hole of the playoff (18th hole).
