Mesa Softball Extends Streak to Six

SILVER CITY, NM - The Mesa State softball team is on a six-game winning streak after a doubleheader at Western New Mexico on Saturday.

The Mavericks won both games by 5 runs, 8-3 and 11-6 and improved to 19-15 (15-13 RMAC). Mesa State can extend the win streak to 8 games if the Mavericks can sweep the Mustangs by winning another doubleheader on Sunday.
