GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Durango Demons are one step closer to ending Grand Junction's streak of four consecutive Southwestern League baseball titles. On Saturday the Central Warriors became their latest victim.
Durango scored five runs with two outs in the top of the second inning and led 11-2 after the top of the third on the way to a 14-3 win over Central.
Durango and Grand Junction are tied in the SWL standings but the Demons hold the tie-breaker.
