Palisade Wins Doubleheader Over Moffat

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - On Monday at Canyon View Park the Palisade baseball made up two previously rained out games against Moffat County.

Palisade was the home team in game one and scored four runs on just one hit in the bottom of the first inning. They carried that 4-0 lead to an 11-1 victory in five innings.

In game two Palisade was designated the away team and donned old-school throwback jerseys. Palisade scored seven runs in the top of the first inning on the way to a 19-6 victory, also in five innings.

The doule-header gave Palisade a chance to pick up two more wins even though they had finished the rest of their regularly scheduled games on Saturday.
