The final regional rankings in NCAA Division II women's golf were released on Monday and the Mesa State Mavericks are headed to the Super Regionals for only the second time in school history.
Mesa State came in ranked fifth in the final Central Region rankings and will be joining three other schools from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in the tournament. Fort Hays State (fourth), Montana State-Billings (eighth), and Western New Mexico (ninth) will also be making the trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the tournament May 4-6.
The Super Regional will be a three round, 54 hole tournament. The top three teams in the Super Regional will advance to participate in the NCAA Championships at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio between May 13-16. The Championships will be a 72 hole competition.
