GRAND JUNCTION - The Mesa State baseball team has lost four of its last seven games but still clinched its fifth straight regular season conference title last weekend with a series split against New Mexico Highlands.

And although the Mavs are once again the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference champions, they still have a lot to play for. With a series win this weekend against Colorado Christian the Mavs will clinch the number one seed in the Central Region and will be able to host the Regional Tournament in two weeks.

Colorado Christian is in last place of the RMAC's Mountain Division, but Mesa State players know that they can not take the Cougars lightly. To hear what the Mavs had to say at Wednesday's practice, click on the video above.
