Mavs Basketball Announce 2009-'10 Signings

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Mesa State men's basketball program has announced its signings for the upcoming 2009-2010 season. The six players added are listed below.

TANNER ADAMS - 6'5", Forward, So., Salt Lake City
Central Wyoming College.
Started every game in Central Wyoming's inaugural season. Averaged 12.0 points and five rebounds per game. Helped lead the team to a 19-11 overall record.

MICHAEL DOMINGUEZ - 6'3", Guard, Sr., Espanolla, New Mexico
Florida International University/Northeastern Community College.
Started 30 games and led the team in minutes played. Averaged 10 points and four rebounds per game. Shot 79% from the free throw line and finished the season with 76 3-pointers. At Northeastern Community College he was a two year starter in which the team recorded a 64-6 overall record. The team finished 7th nationally in 2007 and won back-to-back Region 9 Titles. All-Region as a sophomore where he connected on 86 3-pointers. He also won a state championship in high school at Capitol High in New Mexico.

LANCE FITE - 6'7", Post, Jr., Glendale, Arizona.
Glendale Community College.
Averaged 16 points and nine rebounds. Was selected Second Team All-Conference and named Third Team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC).

RUSSELL GREGORY - 6'3", Wing, Jr., Freson, CA
Fresno Community College
Helped lead his team to a 30-8 overall record and a state championship as a freshman. As a sophomore he averaged 10 points and shot 42 percent from the three-point line. First team All-Central Valley Conference. Team finished 34-1 overall.

CLAY KAME - 6'1", Guard, Fr., Grand Junction, CO
Central High School.
Averaged 13 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals in his senior season at Central. Helped lead the Warriors to its first 20-win season in 10 years with a record of 20-5. First team All-Southwestern League. All-State Honorable Mention.

KEVIN SCREEN - 5'10", Fr., Glenwood Springs, CO
Glenwood Springs High School.
Averaged 19.3 points, four rebounds and three and a half assists per game as a senior at Glenwood Springs. 4A Western Slope League Player of the Year. All-State Honorable Mention.
