GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - For five years now a small group from Grand Junction has been providing orphaned children in Zambia with the resources they need to receive proper medical and health care, a better education, sanitary living conditions, and a safe home to stay in.
This group has put together an organization called "Africa Hope" and they are using the game of golf as a way to help out. On July 25 Redlands Mesa Golf Course will host the 3rd anual Africa Hope Golf Tournament.
There is still plent of room for sponsors to get involved as well as plenty of spaces for teams to register as well.
The tournament will be a scramble with a shot-gun start at 7:30 a.m. Coffee and registration will be at 7:00 a.m. There are also prizes to be won as well as a post-tournament lunch served at Red Canyon Grill.
