Marshall Misses Practice, Coach Unsure Of Return

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall missed a second consecutive practice session Wednesday because of an undisclosed injury. And head coach Josh McDaniels says he's not sure when Marshall will be able to return.

McDaniels says he's not a doctor and doesn't want to put a timetable on anything, but that Marshall will be out on the field as soon as he's ready - and says "hopefully that will be sooner rather than later."

Meanwhile, first-round picks Knowshon Moreno and Robert Ayers remain unsigned.

McDaniels says he wants to see a physical camp when the team begins contact drills on Friday. The coach says the team will do everything possible "at a great tempo because that's the way games are played," and that the coaches "want to simulate what happens on game day as much as we can at every practice and get our players into that mindset."
