GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - Extreme sports star "Cowboy" Kenny Bartram's high-flying act has landed in Grand Junction. Bartram was taking practice jumps at the Mesa County Fairgrounds on Friday afternoon and even stopped to talk with some enthusiastic young motocross riders.
On Saturday the fairgrounds will play host to the Chrysler - Jeep - Dodge Stadium-Cross event. Gates open at 4:00pm and competition begins at 6:00.
Near the midway point of the competition the course will be cleared and a ramp brought in for Bartram and a pair of other pro riders to perform aerial stunts.
Bartram's resume includes competition in several high adrenaline events on both two wheels and four wheels in the X-Games, Dew Tour and the Gravity Games.
