ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - One of the first things new head coach Josh McDaniels did when he arrived in Denver was stockpile his supply in the offensive backfield.

McDaniels signed Correll Buckhalter, Lamont Jordan, and J.J. Arrington to free agent contracts joining Ryan Torain and Peyton Hillis on the roster. The Coach also signed Darius Walker to a free agent contract and then selected top rookie back Knowshon Moreno with the 12th overall pick in the draft.

Arrington and Torain have both since been released and Buckhalter has emerged as the front runner for the starting job. And although there is deep talent at his position, Buckhalter knows its a priveledge to have the top spot as well as the healthy competition each day in camp.

Buckhalter spoke out about the opportunity to be a leader at training camp this week.
