FRUITA, Colo. - (KKCO) Day two of the Wildcat Invitational was not as friendly to the host school as the Fruita Monument Wildcats lost to the Carbon County Dinos on Friday evening 44-36.

The game was tied at 19 at the half but Carbon was able to pull away in the final quarter for the win.

Wildcats gurad Sarah Hensley hit a three pointer at the buzzer but by then it was too little, too late in the eight point loss. Hensley finished the game with a team high 16 points. Taylor Johnson chipped in with ten points in the loss.

Carbon County, from Price, Utah, will play its final game of the Wildcat Invitational on Saturday against Colorado's number one ranked team Thunderridge at 11:45 a.m.

Fruita Monument's final game of their own tournament will be against Battle Mountain on Saturday afternoon at 3:15.
