Lady Mavs upset 2nd place Grizzlies
With only seven player active for Saturday's game, the Mavericks beat the Grizzlies 53-49 in an RMAC game at Brownson Arena.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- With only seven player active for Saturday's game, the Mavericks beat the Grizzlies 53-49 in an RMAC game at Brownson Arena.
Mesa State (8-12, 5-8) was down to just seven players on less than 24 hours rest, and was still able to come from behind to beat Adams State (16-4, 10-3) after the Grizzlies led by five points with under 12 minutes remaining in the second half.
Hannah Breidel and Katie Cupp led the Mavs with 14 points each. Jenn Kimbrow had 12 points and Courtney McCaig added 9.
The Mavs play at Western State on Tuesday.
