Olathe girls basketball team advances to Sweet 16
After leading by just one at halftime, the Olathe Pirates girls basketball team outscored the Centauri Falcons by sixteen points in the third quarter to pull away for a 53-36 win at Olathe High School on Friday night.

OLATHE, Colo. (KKCO) -- After leading by just one at halftime, the Olathe Pirates girls basketball team outscored the Centauri Falcons by sixteen points in the third quarter to pull away for a 53-36 win at Olathe High School on Friday night.
#3 Olathe (23-0) advances to the regional final where they'll host #14 Classical Academy on Saturday at 1 p.m. The winner will advance to next weekend's Great 8 at Colorado State in Fort Collins.
Emily Brummitt led the Pirates with 15 points while Morgan Stansberry added 12.
