Mavs No. 2 seed in Central Region Tournament
The Mesa State men's basketball will be dancing into the NCAA tournament as the No. 2 seed in the Central Region.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- The Mesa State men's basketball will be dancing into the NCAA tournament as the No. 2 seed in the Central Region.
The #2 Mavericks will face #7 Winona State on Saturday, March 13th in Mankato, Minnesota.
Three other RMAC schools qualified for the tournament: No. 5 Metro State, No. 6 NM Highlands, and No. 8 Colorado Mines.
There are eight regions that make up the 64 team tournament with the winner of each region moving on to the Elite Eight in Springfield, Massachusetts from March 24-27.
Opening round match-ups of the Central Regional Tournament:
No. 1 Minnesota State Mankato vs. No. 8 Colorado Mines
No. 2 Mesa State vs. No. 7 Winona State
No. 3 Augustana (S.D.) vs. No. 6 NM Highlands
No. 4 St. Cloud vs. No. 5 Metro State
