Mavericks bats carry them to 13-6 win over Cougars
It was a good night at Suplizio Field for the Mavericks offense, as they put up 13 runs in a 13-6 win over Colorado Christian in an RMAC game on Friday night.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- It was a good night at Suplizio Field for the Mavericks offense, as they put up 13 runs in a 13-6 win over Colorado Christian in an RMAC game on Friday night.
Marty Rover was 4-4 with 4 RBI's for Mesa State (7-8, 3-4). Brian Bello was 2-4 with his 3rd home run of the season and 4 RBI's as well. Scott Bachman went the distance on the mound, giving up just 3 earned runs while earning his second victory of the season.
The two teams meet for a double-header on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
