GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Lady Mavericks achieved one of the biggest preseason goals: earn a berth into the RMAC championship tournament.
Now, comes the true task, though. The Mavs face the top seed in the tourney, Colorado Mines on Tuesday in the opening round of the tournament.
Colorado Mesa finished the regular season this past weekend with two victories on the road at CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands.
Earlier in the season, Colorado Mines swept CMU at Brownson Arena, 3-0.
