8th Street Gym grappling tournament
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- 8th Street Gym hosted an in-house grappling tournament to competitors throughout the Western Slope to prepare for upcoming match.
Athletes aged 5-40, male and female, competed to sharpen their skills on the mat.
The event was in honor of Brenden McLarty, nephew of the gym's owner, who passed away earlier this year due to asthma.
