GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The ski town of Aspen is, once again, the destination for all action-sports junkies this weekend.
For the 12th consecutive year, Aspen is hosting the Winter X Games.
Superstar athletes like Shaun White, Kelly Clark join up-and-comers like Elena Hight and Mark McMorris in the 17th annual winter sports competition.
The action begins on Thursday and runs through Sunday at Buttermilk Mountain. All events are free to the public.
