GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- 6-for-39. That's how Ben Waldrip started out this season for the GJ Rockies.
On Tuesday night, Waldrip broke out of the funk going 4-for-4 with two home runs, and says a minor adjustment to his stance was the key to his success.
"Early in the season I really widened out my [stance]. I usually hit with a pretty wide base, but I was 6-8 inches past what I usually am," Waldrip said on Wednesday.
"I talked to some people that made me stand a taller at the plate and that obviously helped me with pitch selection as well."
