GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Saturday was the final regular season home game for the 11th ranked Colorado Mesa Mavericks, and to that point, were 23-0 at Suplizio Field.
Even though they fell into a 2-0 hole in the first inning, the Mavericks' offense was never in doubt, as they came back to put up 13 runs.
Led by Tony Audino (4-5, HR, 5 RBI) and Austin Kaiser (4-5, HR, RBI, 3R), CMU improved to a perfect 24-0 at Suplizio Field for the regular season before they finish their schedule on the road at Regis and Colorado Mines.
They outscored Colorado Christian 54-11 in the four game set, as Kyle Davis improved to 5-0 from the mound on Saturday.
