GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - CMU student and interim coach Patric Rostel makes the permanent move to head coach.

Rostel started competitive cycling in 1998 at the age of 12. The next year he was accepted into a prestigious school for young athletes in Berlin, Germany.

In 2009, he joined the CMU cycling team and made the jump to assistant coach the following year, working alongside Crawford.

"Although my time as a professional cyclist ended, I was instilled with a life-long love of the sport and a desire to share all that I have learned along the way with burgeoning cyclists," said Rostel.
