GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Mavericks athletic department will have a clear favorite in the 155-lbs. bout in Cage Wars 13 on Saturday.
Jason Brenton is an assistant coach for Mavs Track and Field team, but he's also a professional mixed martial arts fighter.
Saturday's fight will be the first fight for Brenton in nearly two years due to injuries, but he says he's excited for to fight in front of hometown crowd.
Cage Wars 13 will be at CMU's Brownson Arena Saturday night at 7pm. there are 11 fights scheduled on the evenings card.
