GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The CMU baseball team continued its four-game weekend set with Metro State, and with a double header on Saturday, two wins would make them a perfect 19-0 at Suplizio Field.

That's just what they did. After falling behind 3-0 in game one, Matt Allen came on in relief to shut the Roadrunners down. The Mavs rattled off ten unanswered runs, including a three-run double from Roman Chavez, that helped them win 10-3.

Game two was more tame, as they win 2-1. Joey Danner picks up the victory.

As for the CMU softball team, they win game one over Western New Mexico 7-0. Jessica Severinsen gets the win, striking out ten batters. She also hit a home run.

Ashley Pulido picks up the win from the circle in game two, as the Mavs take care of business, winning the second half 9-7.

Both teams finish their series with their RMAC opponents Sunday afternoon.
