GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Both the men's and women's basketball teams from Colorado Mesa found a home in the top six of the first South Central regional rankings.
The first regional rankings of the 2012-2013 season were released on Wednesday with the Lady Mavs ranked first in the region, and the men sitting sixth.
The Colorado Mesa women are currently ranked No. 4 in the national polls.
Two more regional rankings will be released in the remaining two weeks of the season, with the final rankings determining seeding for regional playoff tournaments.
