GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- There is still hope for the CMU men in the RMAC. After losing five of their last six, they jumped back on the win wagon to double up Regis 71-36. The women were not as fortunate with a 65-54 loss.
The men (10-8, 8-6) had a true team effort to score their 71 points. Only two players were in double digits and their leading scorer, Colton Burgon, had 15.
The women (8-10, 6-8) did not have the same luck, and have now dropped seven of eight. Kelsey Sigl led the team with 20 points.
Mesa will play two ranked squads in the Metro State Roadrunners on Saturday at Brownson.
