GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The RMAC released its all-conference selections for football Tuesday. The CMU Mavericks put six guys on the lists.

Senior Jake Edmiston is the lone first-teamer, running back Jake Cimolino, corner back Jordan Price, and safety Mike Brady were all named to the second team, while sophomore offensive lineman Zeth Ramsay and senior corner back Ryan Lendrum earned third team honors.

In addition, there were two other special honors: William Milo was named co-defensive freshman of the year, and Edmiston was awarded the RMAC defensive player of the year.

Leading the team at middle linebacker, he set an NCAA Division II single season record with 177 tackles, which comes out to just over 16 tackles per game.

Edmiston added five sacks and two interceptions.

"It's pretty cool, just being in the right place at the right time," Edmiston said. "Coach Auer's scheme and everybody else doing their job around me, all I had to do was make the tackles so it worked out pretty well."
