GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Courtesy of Taryn Smith's buzzer-beater, the Central Warriors downed the Palisde Bulldogs 54-52 Tuesday night.
Smith received an inbound pass from Tyler Hays with five seconds left in the game. She dribbled down to the baseline and from about eight feet out, Smith lofted up a shot that bounced off the glass and trickled into the basket.
The Warriors improve to 4-8 this season, and the Bulldogs fall to 3-5.
Sophomore Tyler Hays led the Warriors with a game-high 20 points.
