Central Arizona's Keenyn Walker signs with White Sox
Central Arizona's Keenyn Walker has signed with the Chicago White Sox, meaning he'll fore-go his final two years of elgibility to begin his pro career.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO)--Central Arizona's Keenyn Walker has signed with the White Sox, meaning he'll fore-go his final two years of elgibility to begin his pro career.

Walker was the first JUCO World Series player taken in this year's draft when Chicago took him with the 47th overall pick. The signing will become official next week when Walker passes a physical. The 20 year-old outfielder will then head to Montana to play for the White Sox's Rookie-level team.

A standout at Central Arizona College, the switch-hitter batted .402 during the 2011 season and stole 65 bases on 68 attempts. Walker also accounted for a .502 on base percentage and 50 RBI's.
