GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Grand Junction Rockies (COL) will be without one of their best hitters for the near future.
Cesar Galvez hasn't played with the Rockies since Saturday, June 30th against Orem. The team says he has a injury in his throwing arm (right).
A team source told KKCO 11 Sports' Phil Stafford that they will be "take it slow" with Galvez to ensure that he's completely healthy upon return.
In ten games so far this season, Galvez has hit a team-high .395 average.
Grand Junction signed undrafted free agent Ashley Graeter from Southern Mississippi and put him on the active roster for the time being.
