Colorado Mesa athletics introduce "CMU Maverick Coaches Show"

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) This season, Colorado Mesa University is giving fans, parents, and students the chance to experience the new "CMU Maverick Coaches Show" debuting next week.

CMU athletics, KEXO and Buffalo Wild Wings have partnered together to create the weekly sports broadcast.

It will give everyone a chance to interact with select players and coaches throughout the season. Head footbal coach Russ Martin will headline each show.

""We're very excited," said Coach Martin. "I think it's going to be a great opportunity for the public to get out and even ask some questions, but be able to share some of the things that are going on inside of the program, more than just in the regular outlets.

"It'll give fans a face to go with many of the names they see and just an opportunity to see our student-athletes in a different venue, away from the competition field and just a chance to interact and meet them as people," said CMU sports information director Ian Marks.

Debuts: Tuesday, September 3rd
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Host: Buffalo Wild Wings
Broadcast: KEXO 1230 AM
