GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - This weekend was a big turnaround for the Mesa Mavericks, bringing in back-to-back wins for their records.
The Lady Mavs snagged 82 points in both Friday and Saturday night's matchups. Their win against Chadron gave them their 20th win - the most wins in a single season since 2002.
For the men's team, a huge overtime win against the Yellow Jackets on Friday was followed by a blowout victory over the Eagles.
