GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- David Dahl has only been with the Grand Junction Rockies for nine days, but the fan-base has been anxiously awaiting his debut.

Come Thursday, the wait is over. Manager Tony Diaz listed Dahl in the second spot in the lineup prior to Thursday's series opener in Idaho Falls.

In an interview with KKCO 11 Sports' Phil Stafford prior to game time Dahl said he was anxious to get his career underway.

"I've had a good time through everything so far," Dahl said. "I'm just excited, I'm not really nervous yet."

Dahl - the 10th overall pick in 2012 MLB Amateur draft - will play in centerfield.
