GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Eddie Butler started from the mound for the Rockies, and he carried them through six strong innings, only allowing one run for the Great Falls Voyagers
The team put up 66% of their runs in the 1st inning - straight from a Wilfredo Rodriguez single to the outfield that allowed Matt Wessinger and Julian Yan to score.
While they would only grab one more run on the day, they kept the Voyagers in line at 2 runs.
The team improves their record to 11-10, third in the South division. They will have an off day on Monday before heading out on an 11-game road trip with the first being against the Helena Brewers, whom they swept in last week's home series.
