GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Colorado District 1 Little League tournament will continue throughout the week. With the teams slowly trickling away as they ladder gets narrower.

    I think it's great! These kids have put in a lot of jhard work and time. If they are good, they have earned it. Sounds like there sre some seriously jealous parents out there. Grow up!! Quit bad mouthing the kids.

    Monument is not a little league team they are a competitive team stay in your own tournaments leave little league alone need a confidence boost or what. the parents should feel ashamed of themselves letting their little MAVS in a little league tournament

      All four Monument teams won districts. Not all of the kids play competitive,but the ones that do deserve to play LL or what ever league they choose too. If your kid did not make an All Star team or lost, encourage he/she to work harder. Hard work pays off, just like in life! nobody is entitled to anything. Encourage all the kids to work hard, and good things will happen!

    the integrity of little league baseball goes out the window when the Monument Mavs take the field. If you aint cheatin you aint tryin!

    Monument (Majors-12U) Boys play Fruita tonight at 5:30 pm at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs.
