GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)- Harris' Kids Football Camp and Western Rockies Sports Combine teamed up to bring a day of football activities to the valley.
Marques Harris, former Grand Junction high school football player and San Diego Chargers linebacker, started the kids program to give back to the kids in Grand Junction and raise money for the community. It allowed athletes from 5th to 8th grade to participate in six different areas including speed and agility drills and football specific drills.
Nearby was the combine. It gave Western Slope high school football players the opportunity to rate and record official skills and times to send off to colleges.
