Friday Night Blitz: Week Six

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The biggest game of the night took place in Rifle, as the top two teams in 3A ball faced off - number one Rifle Bears and number two Palisade Bulldogs.

Early in the first half, a pick six from Dalton Hannigan gave the Bulldogs a 14-7 lead. Eventually the Bears caught up and added some insurance, but missed an extra point which proved costly.

In the fourth quarter, with under thirty seconds to go, a late touchdown pass gave Palisade the 28-27 victory over Rifle. Palisade improves to 4-0; Rifle drops to 4-1 in the WSL.
