Fruita girls prepare for Loveland on Friday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The hangover is still in effect for the Lady Wildcats after winning their first league title in 17 years last week.

That's coming to an end soon, however, because the Wildcats practiced on Wednesday knowing for the first time who they would face in the second round of the playoffs on Friday.

Seventh-seeded Loveland comes to Fruita Monument on Friday for a 7pm tip-off.

Wildcats' head coach Richard Atkins expects to see a lot of perimeter shooting from the Indians, and he is certain that it will be a hard fought game for both teams.
