GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Colorado Rockies agreed to terms with their top draft pick Jonathan Gray, and he will start his career right here in Grand Junction.

The junior right-handed pitcher out of the University of Oklahoma signed a $4.8 million contract with the Rockies.

Though many say he's overqualified for the short-season level of play, the Rockies organization wants to ease him in gradually to a five-day routine and side sessions.
