GJ Rockies: Sixth inning offensive power keeps Rockies alive in playoffs

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The Grand Junction Rockies are staying alive in the South Division Championship best of three series.

They faced off against the Idaho Falls Chukars for game two of the series. After losing the first one 7-1 at Melaleuca Park, the Rockies repaid the favor with a 7-1 victory in this afternoon's ballgame.

Zach Jemiola had another incredible outing against the Chukars. He went 8.1 innings, giving up just four hits and one run while putting out four strikeouts

The game two win tied up the series, forcing a third game that is set to take place at 7:05 PM. Winner will face the Helena Brewers in the Pioneer League Championship Series.
