GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The Grand Junction Rockies may not have sealed a win against the Ogden Raptors, but they put out a high-energy performance to wrap up their final regular season homestand.

The evening was highlighted by Ryan McMahon's and Raimel Tapia's solo-blasts over the center field wall and a huge four-run sixth inning that put the Rockies back on top after losing the lead.

Both teams went on a scoring spree in the final few innings. The Rockies entered the bottom of the ninth trailing 11-10. Fortunately they were able to get two runners on base when Cesar Galvez grounded into a single to score Terry McClure for the tie and send it to extras.

In the eleventh, Carlos Estevez picked off Zach Babbitt at first to end the half and give the Rockies the chance for the win. GJ loaded up the bases and brought the leading hitter Raimel Tapia to the plate. He didn't even have to swing the bat to bring in the winning run. Ricky Perez walked Tapia and the Rockies swept the series 12-11.

The Rockies will face Orem Thursday night at 7:05 PM for the start of a two-game series.
