GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Two teams faced off at Suplizio Field for rights to the Pioneer League lead - the Grand Junction Rockies and the Ogden Raptors.

Jose Briceno started things off, taking the first pitch in the three-spot over the fence for a two-run homerun. In the second, the team was able to jump to a 6-0 lead, and they didn't stop there.

Helmis Rodriguez earned his second win of the season, allowing just one hit over five scoreless innings.

The Rockies will wrap up their six game homestand when they take on the Raptors on Wednesday at 7:05 PM.
