GJ Rockies come alive in the sixth, but it wouldn't be enough

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Oftentimes, it's impossible to come back in a game after falling behind 14-0, but the GJ Rockies certainly came close.

It was deja vu from last night's game in the first inning, this time with the Ogden Raptors on top. They scored a quick five runs including 2 homers.

After the Raptors half of the sixth, it looked to be a blowout at 14-0, until Grand Junction had a shot at it. Five runs, including a Julian Yan homerun, gave the Rockies hope. A few base hits later, and it was a ballgame: 14-10.

While the latter half of the game was exciting, GJ could not make it all the way. They lost to Ogden 15-11 and move to 2-6 in the league standings.
