GJ Rockies finish season with a win, their 43rd of the season

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- David Dahl and the Rockies gave fans a show on Thursday to close out the regular season.

Dahl hit two homers in the night, his eighth and ninth on the year. However, the fireworks came in the bottom of the ninth when Juan Ciriaco doubled down the right field and Michael Ramirez scored from first base to score the winning run. 4-3 was the final score.

The Rockies finish the regulars season with a 43-33 overall record, the club's first ever winning season.

Grand Junction won five of the final eight games against the Raptors this season.

Ogden and GJ face-off in the South Divisonal Championship series starting Friday afternoon at 1:05pm at Suplizio Field.
