GJ Rockies sweep opening series against Ogden Raptors

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Rockies looked to put up a second straight win against the Ogden Raptors and in turn sweep the series in Friday's battle.

Robbie Perkins shined in his debut as the designated hitter. He notched a 2-run homerun over 400 feet and added a couple more runs overall.

The Rockies took their second straight victory to improve to 2-0 this season before heading to face the Orem Owlz on Saturday.
