GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Nine games remain, and the Rockies are just one game back of the division-leading Raptors.

If the playoffs were to start tomorrow, the Rockies would make the playoffs over the Orem Owlz because Grand Junction has the better overall season record.

As it is now, though, the Rockies need to keep Orem out of the top, while keeping themselves and Ogden in the lead.

The Rockies beat Idaho Falls 7-6 on Tuesday night to join Orem in a tie for second place in the South Division.

Of the nine games that remain, Grand Junction plays three on the road and the final six at home. The final two games of the Rockies season are against Ogden, against whom the Rox are 3-12 this year.
